Davos:

Davos' flagship is its congress centre, which has been the venue for the World Economic Forum (WEF) almost every year. The visitor of Davos will find a variety of hotels and accommodation offers, a range of shopping possibilities in the boutique stores, and many cafes and restaurants. Even at night, Davos' bars, casino and discos will keep you entertained. Davos is also the headquarters of the well-known Weissfluhjoch/Davos Federal Institute for Snow and Avalanche Research.

Davos is a winter sports metropolis for ski and snowboard fans around the world. Between 1124m and 2844m the guests will find 54 lifts and transport facilities, 320km of slopes, 75km of Nordic ski slopes, two artificial ice rinks and Europe's biggest natural ice rink for ice-skaters and curlers. On top of that there are also five toboggan runs. Davos' six skiing areas Parsenn, Gotschna, Jakobshorn, Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn are joined in a winter sport arena. For skiing fanatics, the mecca is the Parsenn and Weissfluhjoch area which connects up with the neighbouring resort of Klosters. Snowboarders will love the Jakobshorn with its half pipe and its Monster pipe. It's a bit quieter on the snow-covered side valleys, where you can take a ride on horse drawn sleigh/sledge. The 84km of beautifully prepared winter hiking paths and snow shoe trails around Davos are waiting to be explored.

Offer:

Are you keen on making it to the top? In that case you will probably find having just one day on one of our magical mountains too short. Here you can pick between 6 winter sports areas: the Jakobshorn, the Parsenn/Gotschna area, and the three family-friendly areas Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn. The ski service on the Schatzalp/Strela also opened again on the 2009/10 season.

In other words, here you will find a choice of over 318km of slopes with good snow conditions, and 61 lifts.

Jakobshorn:
Snowboarders will love the Jakobshorn. The half pipes at the Funpark will delight any Snowboarders and freeskiers. Not only are the slopes and constructs great: there is a lot of fun to be had off-piste in the ski huts. Jakobshorn has a massive array of national and international sporting events. The Jakobshorn is in fact an event in and of itself!

Parsenn / Gotschna:
The biggest snow sport area of them all, Parsenn/Gotschna, is on the opposite side of the valley, and is reachable from Davos as well as Klosters. Its slopes offer all levels of difficulty. Parsenn also has the longest valley run from the Weissfluh peak all the way to Külbis (12 km). Friday night one can also go "night skiing".

Pischa, Madrisa & Rinerhorn:
The family-friendly mountains Pischa, Madrisa and Rinerhorn offer ski-enthusiastic families just what they are looking for. Our smaller guests will find a variety of fun activities in the children's paradise areas.
Pischa is also a free ride area, with three of the slopes being marked and secured, but not groomed.

Schatzalp:
Last winter the Schatzalp Strela Davos rails created the first "decelerated" skiing area. The Schatzalp/Strela on Davos' sunny side was ideal for this: its gently descending hills can be reached from the centre of Davos Platz in just four minutes with the renovated cable car.
