Gstaad:
Over the last few years Gstaad's centre has become one of the most popular—and shortest—shopping streets of Switzerland. With its top hotels, its gourmet restaurants, the luxury chalets and the nearby Saanen airport, the vehicle-free holiday town of Gstaad has become a favoured destination for international celebrities.
Offer:
"Mountain Rides" is a skiing and hiking area in the Saanenland with over 60 lifts. These can be reached from several towns through feeder cableways.
Several snow parks, a number of toboggan runs and 80km of classical and skating track are available to guests. Hikers will find 120km of winter hiking trails. Some of the more unusual activities guests can discover "ice stock sport" (similar to curling) in the centre of Gstaad, or go glacier or heliskiing in the mountains.
In the smaller towns in the region (like Lauenen), the winters are calm and relaxing, and one can take winter hikes, go Nordic skiing, or take a romantic horse-drawn sleigh.
Situation:

Gstaad is easily reached via Bern and the route through the Simmental valley. Via Geneva one takes the Bulle exit: main road to Château d'Oex - Saanen – Gstaad.
